More than 200,000 soldiers enlisted in Indiana regiments during the Civil War. This year marks the 150^th anniversary of the start of the War Between the States.

       Vicki Casteel, Visual Collections Archivist, will discuss the Civil War holdings of the Indiana State Archives, and offer a brief history of Camp Morton prison.  Some of the collections discussed will include the new searchable database on the Indiana Digital Archives, the Enrollment of Soldiers, Widows and Orphans, the Veterans’ Grave Registration, the 1862 Draft List, and the Indiana State Soldiers’ Home Applications.
