Jeanne Regan-Dinius will discuss the longstanding and important part that Jews have played in the development of Indiana cities. She will describe the state’s plans to update all National Register listings with the relevant Jewish history, update all National Register districts to describe any Jewish presence, and write new nominations for individual structures and districts. The final topic in Jeannie’s presentation will include a discussion of the DHPA’s plans to collaborate with other state agencies to include this Jewish history in interpretation, packets for teachers, and educating all Hoosiers.
