GENERAL CONDITION: This cemetery has approximately 500 stones. It is very well maintained with few, if any, broken stones. The older stones are primarily on the east side of the cemetery. Judging from the number of flags left over from Memorial Day there are probably several veterans buried here. This cemetery is adjacent to a church and still active. There have probably been lots of new burials since the last reading. (1997)

DIRECTIONS FROM DOWNTOWN: Take I-65 north from the downtown area. Get off at the Lafayette Rd. exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right (north). Go north on Lafayette Rd. about 1/4 of a mile to 52nd St. Turn left (west) on 52nd St. Go west on 52nd St. about 1/2 a mile to North Liberty Christian Church. The address of the church is 6001 W. 52nd St. There is a long drive up to the church with ample parking. The cemetery sits behind the church.
This cemetery was read by the Genealogical Society of Marion County in 1997, and published in both a softbound book and CD titled "Cemetery Readings of Pike Township." The burial records we show came from these readings.
